You may have noticed that the blog has been quiet for the last few weeks. That's because I've been away for a family wedding. it has been a hectic time, all the planning and preparations, at least all had to do was to take the photographs.
Travelling out directly from the UK is always tough, 13 hour time difference to deal with but at least escaping the British winter to the New Zealand summer makes it easier to adjust to the difference in time.
Coming back is more difficult, leaving family behind, flying back into the prevailing winds, arriving back to the northern winter.
So what better way to help get adjusted to the blight of jet lag than to have a few days break on the way home.
Singapore is possibly my favourite city in the world. Clean safe, efficient and dynamic. It's been a few years since I was last here and it's changed beyond recognition almost.
I took the opportunity to grab a few photographs on our last night of the ever changing Singapore skyline and thought as I sit here under a sun umbrella i'd post a few on the blog.
It's a tough life but someone has to do it........
